Travis Hayes is a guy with a high compete level and has consistently produced offensively throughout his career. No high end physical traits stand out when watching him play. He has solid quickness and explosiveness in his strides. Has a thin build and will need to continue to get stronger on his skates. He reads the play well and attacks the net hard. He also displayed solid passing and shooting ability. His coaches have shown a lot of trust in him. Since entering the OHL he has been awarded lots of ice time even as a 16 year old. He is the 3rd of 4 talented hockey brothers. Travis has a chance to be the 2nd one drafted to the NHL after his brother Gavin was taken in the 3rd round. Travis is projecting as a mid round pick at this point in the season.
