Game / Tournament Reports

2025 U18 Championship

Beauchesne had a slow start to his OHL season. He played on struggling Guelph team. He was a key piece on Canadas gold medal winning team and played some important minutes. He finished the tournament with one goal and three assists in 7 games. His offensive upside is limited. He doesn’t possess any high-end traits. He plays a quiet yet effective game. Beauchesne projects more as a shutdown defender at the next level. Coaches trusted him in key situations. Protects his net front well and is reliable in the defensive zone. Plays with some bite and shows a willingness to engage physically. Needs to continue to work on his puck moving ability. If I had to guess, some team is going to be very excited to draft him in the middle rounds this year.
