Nesbitt is a big centre playing with two other big and talented wingers in Liam Greentree and Ethan Belchetz. He is a high upside prospect, currently projecting as a late 1st round pick. Had a nice assist to start the 2nd period. Used his skating down the wing before finding an open man at the top of the slot. Displayed strong defensive instincts. Effectively broke up scoring chances thanks to his positioning. Used his reach and stick positioning to disrupt passing lanes. A high motor player who competes hard at both ends of the ice. Consistently involved in the forecheck and backcheck. Showed a willingness to take a hit to make a play. Room to develop more quickness and explosiveness in his skating. Potential to be a reliable power forward at the NHL level.
